StarSnooper Mk.3 by Artraccoon StarSnooper Mk.3 by Artraccoon
This weird little starship is the StarSnooper class Scout/Survey ship. Originally ment for prospecting and general exploration, it has become popular with treasure hunters, bounty hunters, smugglers, salvage vultures, and other rogues.
The StarSnooper can walk about on it's landing legs, making it a large semi-mecha, and has ports that contain flexable arms for grabbing objects.
This one is owned by some Procynid treasure/salvage hunters and has been fitted with two weapons mounts( a twin 35mm pulse laser cannon with 6 mini-missiles and the quad 20mm plaz-bolt cannon turret) and bears in red the Procynid symbol for "good(lucky) acquisition".

Makes me think of a cross between Red Dwarf's Starbug and the Discovery pods and the Aries IB from 2001. A nice little design.

I like it! For a spaeship, it's got a lot of personality! I'd love to see another pic of it in walking-about mode.

I guess my only criticism is that the backdrop is a little garish, but I guess that's just a matter of taste.

I'll probably have to make two more pics of this model ship, one will have it on the ground, walking, for the book project.

I've also got a rough of the crew of the ship shown hanging around the large side window( from inside the ship).

I maybe shouls have gone with a cool colored background instead of a hot one.
I'll probably do a second version with a diffrent background( aren't computers wonderful?!!). The ship is a separate element anyway, so it'll be easy.
