Lyntech Walker by Artraccoon Lyntech Walker by Artraccoon
Milieu: Stellar Horizons

The Lyntech Walker is a two man vehicle used by explorers and prospectors. It's armed for self protection with a laser cannon and has paired arms in the mid-chassis.
It's designwise just a little more than a walking truck cab.

It's depicted on the planet Namtara from the Tyche Expedition game module [link] , a few pics of which can be seen elsewhere in my gallery.
This image colorwise is a little crude, but the final use will be in black & white for the Stellar Horizons Vehicle Guide.

Thanks, and after viewing your gallery I really dig your artwork.  Apparently I've liked your work for long time, considering how many Cyberpunk and Mekton books I own feature your art!

Crude my foot. It is extremly well made. Belivable, looks like it is taken from the real deal. Anime style but very real down to earth, a la Gundam, the original, where they kept the newtonian laws to work.

Yor welcome but you have the gift man. So keep using it. Also why dont you try your hand at doing stuff but underwater. It is a challenge I know but it is very rewarding. Also not a lot of people do that. You will be in a class on your own.

nice civilian model for it, i'd believe the design could work my self. only thing i'd wonder about is ..this thing a long range search vehicle? or a scouter from base camp, it doesn't look like it allows for comfortable sleeping if going for the long hall

While it may have the endurance for several days, it would probably be used mostly for day trips only...even with good shock absorbers the stompy walking would get old fast.

I would figure that the crew would spend at the longest the same amount of time as the crew of the old lunar lander did in their vehicle( like size, etc...). Mission endurance also is determined by the crew's ability to set up a camp( dome shelters, tents, whatever...)
