This is the White Nova Lines Cygnus class passenger starship the Interstellar Queen, passing Uti Nebula.

This vessel was inspired by the paintings of the "Interstellar Queen" by Angus McKie and from the famous "Terran Trade Authority" books by Stewart Crowley.
My version is much more "anime" and made to fit my "Axis universe" background.

Its a very good design.

I'm not sure, but it reminds me of a design i saw in a very old book of star ship and space art... I like that design, and i like this one :D

This is a very cool version of the Interstellar Queen. Maybe even better than the original. :)

Thanks!! I don't know if my pen and photoshop image really compares to Angus McKie's original work that inspired me.
But your complement really is welcome!

While the Interstellar Queen is a classic design, you might want to see my other starships in my gallery.

The homage is obvious, but I think it's fair to say that you've also managed to make this your own.

Thank you!

I really loved those old TTA books and Angus McKie's Interstellar Queen was just so iconic to them.

I wanted to do something that showed my love and memory of the old TTA ship but with a bit of a "Crusher Joe" anime look to it.
I still debate though it's inclusion in my starship book project.
