Cortes Light Tank by Artraccoon Cortes Light Tank by Artraccoon
The Cortes is light tank I designed for Mr. Satak's "TRO 3063" project. Oddly, I didn't put this up earlier...it was the first thing I did for TRO 3063!!
I used the small tanks of the early years of WW2 as a guide...mostly the little British buggers. Then again I love tanks (and AFVs in general), and I do have a fondness for "tankettes".

So here the nifty little tank is, along with it's canned peach munching driver.

I like it.   Death and destruction in a small package.

Nice! I have an affinity for taketttes as well. I especially like the Italian L33. Would I be able to commission you for something like an L33 with a fully rotating turret, with the main gun being a Browning M2? I couldn't pay you, but I think the concept would be absolutely fantastic.

It's a light tank, very much like the early WW2 light tanks...examples:the Hotchkiss H-35/H-39, the L3/CV33, the Matilda I, & the well known M3 Stuart/Honey. The Cortes is actually bigger than some of those I listed. :)

I just figured if you liked mini-tanks you'd have to love Bonaparte. =P

Nice looking ride.

With the success of the Predator program, probable will see a lot more ‘drones’ on battle field but there will always be a need for boots on the ground and vehicles to get them there.

Damn, that's a sweet mecha. Looks almost like a WWII German Sturmgeschutz III.

I'm thinking that tanks of the future will likely be remotely operated. This will make them cheaper and more expendable, as well as more lethal.
